At Crestec Europe, the bulk of our translation work is technical documentation. English is usually the source language. The subjects vary from client to client, as do the target languages. Some of the work is aimed at non-specialist users, whereas other documents are geared to highly skilled professionals in a particular field. In order to provide our clients with top-quality translations, we only work with translators who meet the highest industry standards. To ensure consistency, Crestec Europe strives to build long-term relationships with its freelance translators. These relationships are based on a set of formal guidelines, which means that our translators need to be willing to work in accordance with our procedures. We are especially interested in professional translators who have experience in these fields:

If you want to be considered for our translator database, feel free to contact us if you meet the following criteria. • Are a native speaker of your target language.• Have an excellent command of English as a working (source) language. • Have a formal education in linguistics and/or translation preferably at University level. • Have relevant experience in technical translations in your preferred subject field. • Have experience using standard translation software applications. • Can deliver sound translations under the pressure of deadlines. • Can empathize with the client's wishes and needs We will consider all serious applications that are sent to us from our Translator Application Form and include a current CV describing all relevant knowledge and experience.
